Meet the Team

Autumn Terry
Director
Hi there! My name is Autumn Terry, and I am the Director of the UNA TRIO Student Support Services program. I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from the University of South Alabama and my Master of Social Work from Troy University. Before stepping into my current role, I worked in school-based mental health. Here, I supported students in navigating academic, personal, and social challenges. That experience continues to shape how I approach student support.
TRIO SSS is especially meaningful to me because I am a proud seven-year TRIO SSS alumna. TRIO SSS has played a significant role in my own educational journey. It’s truly an honor to give back in this way. I deeply value the sense of community we build within TRIO SSS and the opportunity to walk alongside students as they navigate their time at UNA. Supporting students as they grow in confidence, resilience, and independence is the most rewarding part of this work.
On my off days, you can usually find me attempting to break out of an escape room, working on a puzzle, or browsing the local thrift store. Fun fact: I am a first-generation college graduate!

Katie Austin
Academic Coordinator
Hi there! My name is Katie Austin, and I am the Academic Coordinator for the UNA TRIO Student Support Services program. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from the University of North Alabama in 2021, and I am currently working toward my Master of Social Work. Before joining TRIO SSS, I worked in standardized testing with Pearson Education. Here, I gained valuable experience supporting students in academic settings.
TRIO’s mission is especially meaningful to me as a first-generation UNA alumna. While navigating my own college journey, I quickly learned how important a strong support system can be. Because I did not have access to a program like TRIO SSS, I am passionate about ensuring that students feel supported, encouraged, and equipped with the resources they need to succeed. I value the opportunity to help students build confidence, develop independence, and navigate challenges with the knowledge that they do not have to do it alone.
Outside of work, I enjoy going to concerts, spending time with my fiancé and our two cats, and crafting.

Enid Flores
Program Assistant
I am a Program Assistant with TRIO Student Support Services at the University of North Alabama. I am passionate about supporting students and helping create a welcoming, creative, and student-centered environment. I hold a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Atlantic College University and a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Carlos Albizu University, both in Puerto Rico. With nearly two decades of experience in creative design, I bring a unique blend of artistic vision, communication skills, and psychological insight to my work.
I am proudly from the beautiful island of Puerto Rico and the founder and owner of Pandalogue Design. Outside of work, I’m a dog mom to two pups with anime-inspired names (Tohru and Momiji), and I never say no to the Daybreak Sandwich from Rivertown.
